Student shows, while sometimes hit or miss, are often worth the time. Whether it&#8217;s the excitement of seeing their work on the wall for the first time, or that their spirits haven&#8217;t yet been crushed by the reality of the art world, artwork made by young people has a certain freshness that is often lacking from more mature artists. That&#8217;s why tonight I&#8217;m going to be attending the opening reception of the U of T Visual Studies thesis class&#8217;s end-of-year show, &#8220;Memoranda&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For the last year, third and fourth year students enrolled in U of T&#8217;s Visual Studies program have been working collaboratively to organize an exhibition of their artwork, &#8221; writes Elizabeth Underhill in her article for U of T&#8217;s student rag, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenewspaper.ca\">The Newspaper.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Memoranda&#8221; is on display at 30 St Clair Ave. W.
